Step 1: Online check-in & payment
Around 5 days before your arrival, you will receive an email regarding online check-in.
Please complete the registration form in the email (including for any travelling companions) and pay the outstanding amount.
Alternatively, you can also complete all of this on site using the self-check-in tablet.
Step 2: Your code for the key box
About one day before your arrival, you will receive an email containing your personal code for the key box at reception.
From 3.00 pm (CET) on the day of your arrival, you can use this to collect your room key.
If you check in on site, the code will be sent to you by email straight away. If you don’t have internet access, the Wi-Fi login details are also displayed on site.

The code will only be sent once the booking, registration form and payment have been received in full.

As guests of the Hotel Heimatlodge in St. Niklaus, you’ll enjoy free access to the Focus Flow fitness centre.

From St. Niklaus, you can travel directly to Zermatt by train.
If travelling by car, drive to Täsch, where a shuttle train will take you to Zermatt in just a few minutes.

The Mattmark Reservoir is located 33 km from St. Niklaus, surrounded by Europe’s largest earth dam. Nestled in a wild and romantic high-alpine landscape, it is perfect for an easy circular hike with views of glaciers and the Monte Moro Pass.

As the Heimatlodge does not have its own restaurant, we would be delighted to organise your event for you at the nearby Hotel & Restaurant La Réserve, just a few minutes’ walk away.
The dining room can seat around 60 people, whilst the cosy bar area can accommodate around 20. For smaller, special occasions, the cosy wine cellar, which can seat up to around 24 people, and the gondola, which can accommodate up to 12 people, are also available. We’d be happy to advise you personally and work with you to find the perfect setting for your event.
